New App release - Android v2.07.1

We have recently released a new version of the CareFor carer app to the Play store for Android phones. Please see below for more details on what this release contains:

Improved User Experience:

Enhanced support for modern devices with notches and punch-hole displays

Improved full-screen experience with better edge-to-edge layout

Document Viewing Enhancements:

Fixed PDF viewing in dark mode - PDFs are now readable with proper white backgrounds

Added support for viewing Office documents (Word, PDF)

Added support for viewing text files directly in the app

Improved image loading and viewing for supporting documents

Dark Mode Improvements:

Enhanced dark mode compatibility across the app - even though improvements have been made to dark mode, we still highly recommend to use the app in the default light mode.

Performance & Stability:

Fixed dialog and loading spinner issues during check-in/check-out

Upgraded dependencies for improved stability

Bug Fixes:

Resolved issues with supporting document images not loading

Fixed check-in/check-out dialog spinning indefinitely

Improved overall app stability and responsiveness
