IMPORTANT - Upcoming System Release July 2024

NEW RELEASE - JULY 2024

We are delighted to inform you of a new system release to CareFor. This release is planned Tuesday 23rd July - time TBC. There will be no downtime associated with the release, however you may need to clear your browser cache after the release.

The Development team have been working hard behind the scenes to improve your user experience.

Details of the release are as follows:

Security and Limitations.

  • Protected Note Categories: the ‘Carer Mobile Notes’ category is now safeguarded and can’t be deleted.
  • Unique Visit Types: Each visit type must have a unique name.
  • Referrals:
    • Titles are now essential.
    • First and last names are now a must.

Enhancements

  • eMAR Date Printing: Need specific dates? You can now print eMAR with 'To' and 'From' dates.
  • Speedy Medication Load Times: Medication settings now load faster
  • Flexible Packet Types:Changed your mind? You can change the packet type even after administering medication.
  • Delete Integrations: Got a backlog of integrations? Now you have the ability to remove them!.
  • Badge Display:
    • Badges now show up during form generation.
    • They also appear in care plan headers.

Badge Upgrades:

  • Add multiple badges to your care plans.
  • Customise your forms with multiple badges.

Bug Fixes & Cosmetic Improvements

  • Careplan Print: We’ve increased the text size for easier reading.
  • Styling Consistency: Care plan generation now looks as good as forms.
  • PDF Space Usage: The continuous print option now uses space more efficiently.
  • County Dropdown: No more blank Counties.
  • Special Characters: Special characters now display correctly in risk assessment prints.
  • Vertical Alignment: Regions are now aligned perfectly.
  • PDF Titles: Risk assessment titles now stay within the PDF margins.
  • CareBOOSTER Scrolling: Scrolling is now smooth and easy.
  • Archived Logs: Dive into the past with ease, archived logs are now viewable.
  • Risk Assessment Formatting: Residual risks now display correctly in risk assessments.
  • Secondary Questions within forms: Secondary questions now show within print
  • Form User Errors: We've made form user errors easier to understand.
  • Moving and Handling assessments: Fewer roadblocks before saving!
  • Print Preferences: Your preferences now apply across all print options..
  • Client Document Downloads: Downloads now include their file extension.
  • Client/Staff Swapping: Seemingly you can now switch between clients or staff.
  • Medication Comments: Comments now present on administer medication.
  • Monitor Overview: Now correctly presents visits that don’t have medication.
  • ID Cards: Registered charity information now displays on ID cards.
  • CareBOOSTER: CareBOOSTER is now compatible with systems that don’t have company location within their system settings.
  • Qualification Bulk Action: Improved user experience.
  • Profile Image: Improved user experience.
  • Funder Archiving: Archiving a funder no longer requires a page refresh.
  • Adding Referrals: Improved user experience.
  • Landline Tab: Improved user experience.
  • Invoice Print Options: Creating invoices for clients who have the ‘Invoice address’ option selected on their next of kin, will now take effect.
  • Notes Timing: Notes now display the correct time during BST.
  • Account and NOK Spamming: spamming 'Get accounts' & ‘NOK’ no longer negatively affect the page.
  • CM2000 Logs: Application log is no longer spammed with CM2000 logs when you do not use the feature.
  • Careplan Print button: Improved user experience.
