How do I add new Training , Skills & Qualifications?

To add a new training, skill or qualification to CareFor, you need to locate the 'Training, Skills and Quals' tab under the 'Settings' menu.  

You add a new training, skill or qualification by clicking the blue Add button, then typing its name into the "Name" box. You can then type the 'Cost' (this is only used if the staff member pays for this training, it should be set to £0.00 if the company pays.) Finally, you set the number of days before this qualification expires that would you like to be reminded. Press the 'Add' button and it is now added and recognized by the system.

If for any reason you need to change the name of any training, skill or qualification from the list, simply click on the name and add any changes. You can also change the associated costs, and the reminder period should you wish. Once you are satisfied that the changes are correct, select the 'Bulk Action' menu and choose 'Update Item'. 

In order to now assign any training, skill or qualification to a carer, you would do so in their profile under the 'Qualifications' tab.
